Scuba Diving could be dangerous

On land I think I can run pretty quick and if I am in my car I know I am good to go, but underwater I just believe man easting killer sharks just have the edge. Now I would like to scuba dive, but I think I would have to do it in a tank or pretty colorful fish that just like to hang out and drink beer. So you find me a beer drinking colorful fish in a confined space let me know.

Now these animals are more or less safe, but give them some time and they will have the ability to maul you to death and that is a whole new topic to cover.

Safari up close and personal

safari_1I am all about enjoying the beauty around us and if I had the money to travel the globe in style I would. However, even if I could I don’t think i would want to get quite this up close and personal with wild animals. Obviously they seem very used to people driving through their habitat and probably giving them food, but how fast would it take any one of these animals to snap you in half? I have a HD television and Planet Earth on Bluray so I am all good.

Art Wolfe captures the beauty of nature

He has performed several assignments for National Geographic and he has released over 60 photo books and instructional videos. Wolfe’s approach to nature photography combines elements of photojournalism and art photography. Wolfe lists his major influences as Ernst Haas and Eliot Porter. Wolfe has released more than 65 photo books and instructional videos of photographic techniques. The U.S. Postal Service has used Wolfe’s photographs on two stamps.

Dangerous attraction

tnThis summer, in the Oceanarium «Srocosaurus Cove» (Darwin, northern Australia) has opened an unusual attraction called «Cell of Death». In a large aquarium, with its giant (maritime) crocodile Bart, the glass cell designed is put for two people. Through the thick glass crocodile house visitors can observe the life of five-meter crocodile face to face.
